Ripples

Breezy

For the past 2 years, March has been very breezy and all the blossom has blown off the trees before it should. I hope it stays on a bit longer this year.

Brighton

Away from the natural for a change, these Brighton shop fronts fascinate me and there's always a dog or two to spot. Little Spindle (three down on left) was not really for sale or I would have bought him. He sat for hours on his owners stall in the weird and wonderful 'Emporium' while dressed up in various outfits.

Thanks

It's been an exciting week for me post wise, as I received 2 giveaways . . yes 2 . . from the One World One Heart project that I entered earlier in the month.
As my correspondence is almost entirely done by e-mail I hardly ever receive anything interesting in the post, so it was lovely to receive these exquisite handmade gifts. A silver necklace from Nancy and a ceramic collaged notebook from Don, so original. It was a great thing to participate in and I've come across blogs and people that I would not have 'met' otherwise. Check out these 2 bloggers - both so talented.

Instinct

I've been a fan of Keri Smith for ages and received her book 'How to be an explorer of the World' for Christmas. This is the result of Exploration #48 - quick sketches documenting different compositions and in doing this I've realised my instinct is to search for pattern & texture.

Celebrate

It's Valentine's Day so I'm going to celebrate the love in my life, plus it's My Jack Russell's birthday!! A quick doodle this week - pen and ink on a photo of some gazpacho soup I made in the Summer!

Fuzzy

Experimenting with out of focus shots at the moment, infact I'm addicted to it! The house needs cleaning, dog needs walking . . .

IF- Time

Every time I see a dandelion clock I have vivid memories of childhood and telling the time by blowing the seeds away. However many 'blows' it took - that was the time. Did you do this too?

Snowy light

We woke up to snow yesterday and the light in the house was entirely different, so I've tried to capture it.
