One World, One Heart Giveaway

I used a random number picker and 111 & 124 came up. After a lot of counting I can announce the winners are:
Cards - Kelly
CD - Chris
Many thanks to everyone who visited my blog & entered. I still have not visited everyone on the list but I will.

I'm rubbish at technical things - I wanted to close my comments but cannot work out how to do it! However this competition is now closed as of 12/02/2009 & I will be drawing the winners later today. - Have worked this out now thanks to OWOH site and Lisa's expertise!

One World One Heart is where bloggers all over the world are participating in giveaways. It's the third year for this and such a great idea. To win one of mine you need to leave a comment on this post only, before midnight on 11th February 2009 and make sure there is a link back to you. I will then draw 2 names on February 12th and announce the winners.

My giveaways are:

A set of 4 of my element illustration cards

and a cd of 5 live tracks by the Heart Shaped Buttons - cover artwork by me, photography by Damien Cox. You can hear some of their tracks here.

Flawed

I have an ever growing collection of glass - I just can't resist it. My favourite pieces are always the flawed and unsymmetrical ones.

Climbing

I would love to be able to commission Patrick Blanc to create a vertical garden on my house, then I would have plants climbing all over the walls.

I just had to stop & stare - is there really someone there!

Willow

Can you believe the intensity of these colours?

Pale

I love seeing the pale bark on silver birch trees in the dark woods. The work of Gustav Klimt inspires me and although he's known for erotic and decorative work such as The Kiss, his landscapes are beautiful too.

In the bleak midwinter

The colours of the bare trees this year seem to be more vibrant than usual - winter is not so bleak after all.

Contained

When I went into my allotment shed on Saturday I saw that it contained a gnome. I'm sure he wasn't there the other day!

Numbers

I needed some leeks for a recipe and remembered that there were still some on my allotment, so I went down there this morning. That was a joke - I couldn't even get one prong of my fork into the ground - it was as hard as concrete! I should have realised seeing as it's one of the coldest days this winter. So I took some pictures instead.

Resolve

I tend to see everything in the same way as I've always done, so this year I resolve to look at things differently. I don't normally make any resolutions - however this is something I've been considering for a while - it won't be easy to move away from my default.

Secret spies

Had a lot of fun with keri smith's seasonal secret spy disguise over Christmas and then Gray and I decorated them for new year!

Winter Wonderland

We've been away for New Year with friends, staying in a lovely old farmhouse at the foot of the Quantock hills in Somerset. It was beautiful, cold and frosty. Out walking for 4 hours a day I thought we would tire My Jack Russell but he has become even fitter and more demanding!
