Pale

I love seeing the pale bark on silver birch trees in the dark woods. The work of Gustav Klimt inspires me and although he's known for erotic and decorative work such as The Kiss, his landscapes are beautiful too.

Your birch trees are very graceful. It's a nice choice for the topic. I don't think I've even seen Klimt's landscapes, I will have to look some up.

Oh, you are soooo right. The pale bark in dark woods -- absolutely beautiful. Conversely, dark wet branches against a silver sky, also beautiful. Your branches here are striking. They have such nice lines.

Have a wonderful day!

I think this is beautiful, and effective. Those pale birches really cheer up a dull, damp winters day.
