Summer's end

The last of my sweet peas for this Summer. This is the first year I've successfully grown them from seed.

How beautiful Nicky! Good for you growing them from seed - isn't it so rewarding? The more you pick the more flowers you get! I just have to close my eyes and can smell summer!! That armoma (!) will always remind me of my childhood home and my mother who loved 'Sweepeas' and grew them every year - we had vases full of them in the house and also plenty of greenfly who unfortunately love these pretty flowers too!

Sweet peas are always amazing. Every year I ease up close to smell and every year I am delighted and amazed and all of that from a tiny black ball. Amazing! Beautiful photos. Glad to find your blog via weekword(:
