February

It's been pretty wild, wet and windy lately and difficult to get out walking. Also my JRT has been ill but seems to be improving now, although I am cautious about being too optimistic as he is almost 15. A bit of Spring colour from the garden, a murmuration of starlings was amazing to watch in Waitrose car park (I felt that they put on a display just for us), more trees and stormy Wittering beach at East Head which sadly is eroding very quickly at the moment.

Stop and stare 5

Today was a freezing cold and extremely windy day - we went to East Head to give My Jack Russell a blast! I just had to stop and stare when I saw my nephew doing this . . . he'll definitely be a famous stunt man one day.

Stop and stare 3

We were walking along East Head tonight on a lovely sunny evening when I spotted something in the sand dunes - I couldn't help but stop and stare. On closer inspection it was plastic but very realistic from a distance! Was it put there on purpose to make someone look twice or left by a child playing? I'll never know.
