Return

I love this time of year and it's a welcome return of warmth in the sun. Having said that the forecast is for snow before Easter in the UK! AND if that wasn't bad enough, a hosepipe ban because we've had no rain for ages. My vegetables will be few and far between this summer.

That bright sun looks so inviting. Can't complain really - we have stunning weather still with warm days.Bit chilly in the mornings though. Wow - a hosepipe ban! I thought you got buckets and buckets of rain in the UK! Here we are allowed to use hosepipes - but two days per week only and then only before 9 a.m. or after 4 p.m. And not for car washing. All good rules - as we do experience water shortages on and off and the water will not last for ever - especially with our expanding population.
Loved the blue shades and still life illustrations! You are so talented. I have to get myself into the right mood for drawing because I find it difficult and therefore I avoid practising it.

What a lovely illustration to celebrate the return of warmth (hope it's not premature and that the snow doesn't return instead!). Sorry about your hosepipe ban - I'll have to send you some of our rain - we're having big storms at the moment and it even rains inside (bathroom ceiling leaks!). Have a good week, Nicky.

This truly captures the feeling of warmth and light. Beautiful! Here in New Jersey we had a rather cold Easter with lots of wind and it is also very dry. I can't even recall when it has rained all day. Hope you didn't get that snow.

Aaaaah! I can feel the swirly, warming rays of the sun from here. The hearts are a wonderful touch, and the layering of texture is superb!

Oh, too bad about the hosepipe ban. I hear cactus fruit is nice. :|
