Ahead

None of us knows what is ahead of us. I find it's best to stay in the present, although that can be easier said than done. So for the Illustration Friday theme this week I've drawn the view ahead of me at this very moment. Statue I've had for ages, plants from friends, jug from Greece and stones from Cornwall.

This illustration has a lovely dream-like quality. I'm fascinated by the patterns within and love the palette you've used, Nicky.

I love this illustration of yours. Is that a Buddha sculpture? I have eight(!) in my home and garden - I feel more peaceful and calm with them around me. Odd. One is a bronze head that I sculpted and had cast in bronze at a local foundry. I still have the clay macquette that I made for it ...

Beautiful sense of layering here. And I think your "Osmosis of Color" below is truly incredible.

As for me, I am most inspired by the soft blue colours and the timeline to rethinking time ahead.
