Hatch

I'd love to see these tiny turtles hatch and rush down to the sea. Too cold for them here I think!

  12. Ohhh favorite colours! Looks very tropical and warm- the best time I ever had in the ocean was off of the big island swimming with an enormous sea turtle by my side. Great illustration - a very welcomed image at this cold time of the year!

  15. Hi Nicky, the great encourager! thanks for your comments. I love these little turtles, sea turtles are my favourite animal in the world...I have seen them in the wild in australia, and had a 'moment' with one when snorkeling at the great barrier reef once, it turned and looked at me with its wise, old, eye. This piece also reminds me of aboriginal art...are you a fan? The dots and lines of colour, and movement...its lovely, well done. take care, Lisa

  16. I love how nature inspires your art! I also liked the collage/mosaics of your grey day (very pretty grey - when viewed like this!) and your allotment. Wow - allotments - what a great idea when you don't have a garden. Except I am a very bad gardener, we have finally decided to pave over the little patch of grass/weeds we have - paving stones and pebbles, and a few pots. That is really ALL I can manage! PS The little dog (Snous) is doing so well - she has the most amazing personality - loving and patient, very gentle, with a good measure of naughtiness thrown in the mix!
